Demo · what earns decoration, and what stays plain

Moments

The product is deliberately quiet — fifty-odd screens of plain tables and honest sentences. That restraint is only worth something if a few moments earn warmth. Three do: the day closing right, the receipt a customer keeps, and the first sale a shop ever makes.

The rule

A moment earns decoration by being rare, ending something, or being seen by somebody outside the shop. Nothing here celebrates a number being large — decoration attached to size becomes pressure.

The counter-example

The short drawer gets the same care and none of the warmth — it is not a failure, and it is not a moment.

Demo values throughout — names, figures and shops on this page are illustrations.
