Demo · ten minutes in which nothing can be got wrong
The first sale
Every shop that lapsed did the same thing: signed up, faced an empty catalogue, and stopped. So the catalogue is never empty — 1 840 national titles are there before they arrive, and the first screen is a till that works.
The catalogue is already full
The 1 840 titles on the Cameroonian programme are already here, priced the way most shops price them. Every price is a suggestion, and yours to change.
Stock is unknown, and Folio says so
Stock reads “not counted” because you have not counted it — that is honest, not broken, and it stops the moment you do.
Sell a copy Folio did not know you had and the shelf goes negative rather than the sale being refused. The sale is real and the money is real; count that shelf and it settles — nothing here needs fixing by hand.
The sale is kept
Your first sale is kept — you will find it at the bottom of every report you ever run. Both shops that lapsed had never rung up a sale; they never got far enough to find out whether Folio was any good.
Demo values throughout — names, figures and shops on this page are illustrations.
